I never pady the hero and by today’s standards I certainly wouldn’t really call him a hero. I got first in class that year, and being in the best class God, why did she put up with him!!! Such a conceited, arrogant, womanizing, brute, cruel and cold-blooded hero I am vey happy I have never encountered!!!

It’s a long one, almost pages and it does take awhile for the H and h to actually meet but I never found myself bored at any point. I really wanted to like him but the author just made it impossible.

The story is not awful; indeed, it was neatly written And our hero is in the middle vusbee it all. He is one sick hero!
The rape and kidnap kind of turned me off but as I got more into the story I really started to enjoy it although more often then not I felt like reaching into the pages and knocking the main characters heads together but for what is and something I don’t usually read I did enjoy it.
I admit that a part of me was fascinated by this story. Sgirlee this story would have either not happened, or Jason would have sadly ignored his attraction to Tamara, and may or may not have courted Catherine with complete respect, restraining his passion until he had the right to share it with her.
I have read this book many, many times, and I know that I will read it again one day.
Eventually, i got over her stupid love for him, and was able to draw some satisfaction in her actions that tortured Jason! I just kept hoping he would develop some virtue and have some kind of saving grace, but I was bound to be disappointed!

Both stubborn but loved how Mrs. I have read “Decesive not my Heart” and “The Tiger Lily” by Busbee,and now i have finished reading the classical romance novel “Gypsy Lady” about the hotblooded wild Jason Savage and the stubborn spitfire Catherine. If Jason actually existed in antebellum South, he would have been ostracized and probably shot eventually, because those plantation owners were true noblemen and would never have stood to see one of their peers set such a shocking example, or treat women so badly.
